Medical Underwriter
Job Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Medical Underwriter to join our Life Insurance team. This role is responsible for assessing medical risks for life insurance applications, providing expert advice on medical and underwriting matters, and supporting the development of new life insurance products. You will also play a key role in analyzing underwriting data to help ensure the highest standards of risk management.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform medical underwriting and risk assessment for life insurance applications in line with company guidelines.

Provide consultation and professional recommendations related to life insurance underwriting and medical issues.

Collaborate with product development teams to design suitable terms and conditions for new life insurance products.

Collect, maintain, classify, and analyze underwriting data and related information.

Candidates with project management or process improvement experience will be given special consideration.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science or other related fields.

Minimum 5 years of experience in life insurance medical underwriting.

Experience working with a life reinsurance company is an advantage.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Creative thinker with initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Good command of spoken and written English.
